Five stations from On Nut BTS Station, at Samrong BTS Station, and scheduled to start operation in 2023, will be a new intersection station linking the new Yellow Monorail Line running from Ladprao to Samrong Station and the BTS Green Line, allowing easier travel from the Sukhumvit area to northern Bangkok, in particular Chatujak and Don Mueng Airport.

An important large upcoming project that will positively affect the On Nut area is The Bangkok Mall, a large-scale mixed-use project at the Bang Na Junction by The Mall Group due to open in 2023.
